The Heights is a small village with 11 units. The entrance is marked with a small garden. All the units have been recently sided. The Association maintains the roads, outside of unit buildings, lawns and pool. The gardens are maintained by members of the village. Public water and sewer are provided by the City of Laconia. PSNH supplies the electric and Metro Cast is currently the cable company.
The walking paths throughout South Down Shores are easily accessible. You have a choice of driving or walking to the swimming and play ground area. The Adirondack chairs along the lakes edge are enjoyed by all.
