Directions to South Down
FROM BOSTON ON ROUTE 93 NORTH TO EXIT 20:
Take a left onto Route 3 East towards Laconia and travel approximately seven miles to a major intersection of downtown Laconia. The Landmark Inn will be. on your left. Take a left at the lights and go straight through the blinking light. Proceed straight ahead after the Stop sign (Bootleggers Shoe Store is on your left) until a full set of traffic lights. Proceed straight through these lights onto North Main Street (Route 106). Follow North Main approximately two miles until the intersection of Elm Street on your right and Meredith Center Road on your left. There is a full set of traffic lights here. Continue straight on Route 106 (Parade Road). The entrance to South Down Shores is about 200 yards on the right.

FOLLOW ROUTE 93 NORTH TO EXIT 23:
Take a right off the ramp onto Route 104 towards Meredith. Approximately four miles east on Route 104, take a right onto Meredith Center Road. Follow until you come to a full set of lights. Take a left onto Parade Road (Route 106). The entrance to South Down Shores is about 200 yards on the right.
FROM BOSTON ON ROUTE 95 NORTH TO PORTSMOUTH
- Bear left for Spaulding Turnpike - follow turnpike until sign for "Route 11 - Lake Winnipesaukee" - Take a right onto ramp and a right onto Route 11. Follow Route 11 to Alton Bay. Come around the lake on the Alton side (still Route 11) until you pass Lakes Region Plaza on the left and Mobil Station just beyond on the right. Go through the set of lights and bear left onto Route 107 towards Laconia. Pass Irwin Marine and Lakeport Landing on the right. Take a right at the lights at the intersection in Lakeport Square (Fratello's Restaurant on left). This is Elm Street. Follow Elm Street for approximately 1 1/2 miles to a full set of traffic lights. Take a right onto Parade Road (Route 106). The entrance to South Down Shores is about 200 yards on the right.
FROM MEREDITH:
Take Route 3 South towards Weirs Beach. Approximately one mile out of town take a right onto Parade Road (Route 106). There is a large brown building on the right. Drive approximately five miles on Parade Road (Route 106) - South Down Shores is on the left.
FROM WEIRS BEACH:
Take Route 3 North to Roller Coaster Road (Tamarack Drive-In Restaurant is on the right). Take a left onto Roller Coaster Road and follow to the end (approximately 1 1/2 miles). Take a left onto Parade Road (Route 106). South Down Shores is on the left about three miles down the road.
South Down shores is gated community. An access code is needed to gain admittance.
