The Gables Village is located on Gables Drive just East of the Northernmost intersection of Outerbridge Drive and Davidson Drive. The Village includes 31 three story units, consisting of 13 stand-alone homes and 9 Duplexes, offering a variety of configurations with third floor lofts, ground floor walk outs, and some with basements. 19 units have garages. All the units underwent a transition to vinyl siding and PVC trim in 2017. Gutters were installed over all garage car doors in 2019. All units offer sizable decks or patios to enjoy the open wooded areas, walking trails, and cross-country hiking and ski trails, and some with views of Lake Winnipesaukee. Snowmobile trails and access to lake recreational areas are within walking distance. The Gables Village is clustered around its own large, private, in-ground pool, pool house, tennis court and children’s play area. The pool was completely renovated in 2018.
The Annual Meeting is held in August at the Gables Pool House. The Gables Association is responsible for all exterior maintenance of the units, landscaping, snow removal, removal of threatening or dead trees, and trash collection. Public water and sewer are provided by the city of Laconia and electric service is provided by Eversource. Most homes have oil heat with oil tanks located in basements but several use liquid propane with underground propane tanks.
